VITO CLEMENTE is the winner of IX Competition for Orchestra Conductors of the European Community 2002 "Franco Capuana" with "Manon Lescaut"
by Puccini.
       He took an honours degree in Orchestral Conducting, Piano, Vocal Chamber Music and in Band Instrumentation, Choral Music, Composition and university honours degree in Musical Discipline.
       He studied with Roberto Duarte, Rino Marrone, Gustav Kuhn and Myung Whun Chung.
       He is Principal Conductor of the  "Tommaso Traetta" Chamber Orchestra and Musical Director of Teatro della Fortuna (Fano).

       He also conducted orchestras such as Teatro Comunale of Bologna Orchestra's, Arena of Verona, Toscanini Philharmonic, Teatro Marrucino, Friuli Venezia Giulia, City of Grosseto, Sinfonica "Rusia, "Tchaikovsky" Chamber Orchestra, UFRG of Porto Alegre, Marchigiana Philharmonic, Italian Philharmonic, "Benedetto Marcello" Chamber Orchestra, Abruzzo Symphony Orchestra, Pro Arte, "Capitanata"Milano Classica, Rumenian Chamber Orchestra on tour at the Philharmonic de Stat Transilvania, the Philharmonia Mediterranea, the Plovdiv Bulgarian Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tirana Academy.

Teacher at Conservatoire "Nino Rota" (Monopoli), he is winner of competitions for teacher's posts and winner of national and international competitions and scholarships.
       He recorded for RAI 1 and RAISAT (Festival di Pasqua di Roma) RAI 3, RAI 1, TELEMONTECARLO ("Premio Barocco", "Katia e Mara verso Oriente", "Note di Natale"  MEDIASET ("Gran Premio della Lirica" on CHANNEL 5) MEDIASET ("Il Suono del Natale" on RETE 4) - and foreign television conducting soloists such as Al Bano, Pietro Ballo, Pippo Baudo, Enrico Beruschi, Angelo Branduardi, Lee Brown,  Gabriella Carlucci, Rossana Casale, Paolo Limiti, Amedeo Minghi, Michele Mirabella, The Pooh, Massimo Ranieri, Katia Ricciarelli, Melba Ruffo, Antonella Ruggiero, Maria Teresa Ruta, Ivana Spagna, Roberto Vecchioni.
